The Outdoor Virtual Pet Leash (note the name, hoomans) is designed for outdoor use only when you and your pet are outside. If you are inside when your pet is outside, this feature will not work. If you are both inside, this feature will not work well.
Keeping the Outdoor Virtual Pet Leash on when you or your pet are inside will trigger those annoying alerts, so please do not use this feature inside.
