The Pawscout Smarter Pet Tag is lightweight and water-resistant. It is powered by an inexpensive watch battery that you can find at most general stores, but fun fact – not all batteries are created equal! As a result, we do recommend the Pawscout battery which you can buy here.
The Pawscout Bluetooth Tag battery should last up to 4-6 months (less in the winter or if it’s cold). The Bluetooth Pawscout Smarter Pet Tag is always on as long as the battery is good.
