Creating an Informative Found Pet Post

After confirming your shelter’s Pawscout account, please create a Found Pet Post. Don’t forget to include your address so that you only see nearby Lost and Found Pet Posts. By default, we limit your view to Lost and Found Pet Posts.  For more fun, create a personal account and download the Pawscout App on your phone!

We make it a snap to create a Found Pet Post, but the more details you provide, the better: breed, age, color, gender, distinguishing features, where you found the pet, and any other details that might help reunite lost pets with their people as quickly as possible. We will also prompt you to attach a high-quality photo of the pet with your post.

Forgot something important?  No problem - you will always be able to go to your account to edit your posts after you've created them.
