An ID number would be helpful

We have found a cat with a PawScout tag. He's been lost for a while as we have been seeing him roaming the neighborhood for weeks now. I'm frustrated by the fact that there is no way to look up this cat's information using the app. All I can do is wait and hope his owner has updated his status as "lost". We have replaced the battery in the collar and still nothing. Seems like it would be nice if each tag had a unique ID. You could enter it into the website and get the cat's info. It wouldn't put the owner's info at risk because the only way you could get access to it is by entering the ID on the tag, which you could only do if you have the pet in your possession. I feel helpless to find this cat's owner. This device needs upgrades!!

  Thank you so much for your input on how to improve the Pawscout experience. We will definitely share this with our team. We'd be interested to learn from others' experiences in finding animals with Pawscouts with no Pawscout nameplate.
