I made a support ticket today about the unit failing to pair with my cell phone. I never got the green check screen. It showed out of range when I had it in my hand.
What is frustrating is this is the answer I got "We're sorry that you're having trouble with your Pawscout but we hope we can solve your problem. On your My Pets screen, does it read "Last seen xx ago" or "In range" for the status of your pet?
If it reads "In range", everything is fine and you can go on using all the great Pawscout features. However, if you see a "Last seen xx ago" notification when your pet/tag is near, press the embossed tab on the front of the Pawscout tag and check the number of blue flashes you see and whether it places your pet "In range". Each flash of the blue light indicates 1/10 battery life. We recommend owners to change the battery when they see less than 3 flashes. Steps on changing the battery can be found here.
I ask again "I've made multiple attempts to pair to my cell phone and the insulation never completes to the done screen. She shows up on the app but shows not and rangeWhile she sits in my feet. I'm not even sure how to start over short of reinstalling the app"
